I drove a newer model at the last service and it looked to have been improved somewhat. I reckon this system, Mark Levinson, is the worst sound system I ever experience in a car. But it's really funny becos it started working out of the blue, then went off again but I took a drastic action by hitting the centre console by the passenger side with a bit of force and it started working fine again. . Not a lot of faults but replacements parts for this car are expensive - Another one you could consider is the carbon build up which does need a clean every so often. And yes, the software that sits around the control centre is incredibly tedious in how it behaves. Once the sub and enclosure were chosen it was time to find the correct amp for this package. If your amp makes a static popping noise every time you turn it on. Even the Lexus dealers don't repair them. But in the mean time it am trying to find a solution from the all members in this forum.
